Emily Kern joined the firm in 2010. During her tenure, she has
worked on numerous personal injury, medical malpractice, and
employment discrimination cases from inception through the
appeals process, which have resulted in substantial recoveries for
her clients. Ms. Kern continues to represent plaintiffs who have
been injured as a result of negligence and medical malpractice
as well as those who have been discriminated against in the
workplace.
Ms. Kern has successfully mediated and settled a number of
cases on behalf of women who have been subjected to sexual
harassment and other forms of gender discrimination in the
workplace.
Ms. Kern received her bachelor's degree from Pitzer College, a
member of the Claremont Colleges (B.A. in Political Studies,) and
received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
Ms. Kern is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and to the
U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
